You know what you want to say. Typer completes the familiar words, so your typing can keep up with your thoughts.

Demo

Click at the end of “an”, then press Tab to complete “and”.

Design philosophy

When you write an email, take notes, or work through an idea, the thought should come from you. But typing the same words again and again can slow you down.

Typer learns the words in your document and offers the rest in gray. Press Tab when it’s what you meant. Keep typing when it isn’t. You choose the words, the direction, and the voice.

Install in Chrome or Edge

Install Typer.AI from the Chrome Web Store, then refresh any writing pages that were already open. The store version updates through your browser.

For a manual install, download the ZIP and extract it. Open your browser's Extensions page, enable Developer mode, choose “Load unpacked”, and select the folder containing manifest.json. Manual installs require manual updates.

Works with standard text inputs, textareas, and editable writing fields. Google Docs and canvas editors aren't supported. No account or API key is needed. For optional Gemini vocabulary refreshes, turn on “Use background AI” in the popup and grant access to the hosted service. This sends draft excerpts and a heading or page title to Typer.AI and Google Gemini. Refreshes may be delayed or unavailable; local completion works without them.
